The Diouf Basket - White Bogolan
Description
Handmade in Senegal, this basket is perfect as a wall hanging, fruit basket or to display on a shelf. It is made from reeds and recycled plastic and is trimmed with Bogolan fabric. Bogolan is a traditional dyeing method from Mali. Mud and plants are used to tint woven cotton. In recent years, it has become the symbol for Malian cultural identity.
